Good wine is our passion and we want to share this passion with travelers in Rhodes.
Our sommelier, master of wines, will lead you into the world of wine tasting in a best location in the vineyards within a magnificent estate, near the Valley of the Butterflies. From the moment you arrive at our property you will know you are in good hands. You will be warmly welcomed and settled.
After meeting our winemaker, you will get a great overview of the Greek wine history of the estate and vineyards. We will enjoy a walk in the vineyards, where the winemaker himself will explain how everything starts from the vines, we will discuss the viticultural process and its goals. Inside the building in the center of the vineyards, we visit the only legal professional distillery "Suma" in the Dodecanese! Once this is done, we arrive at the winery and see where the winemaking practices take place during the grape harvest.
After whetting our appetite for wine, we finally end the tour with a tasting of the different wines, all factors from the grapes we just saw being grown, tasting olive oil and suma produced here. Our wine ambassador will share his love and passion for wine and answer all your questions. It is a treat for the senses and the mind.
You'll finish your wine tasting feeling more confident in your understanding of different wines, thanks to what you've learned and the varieties of wines you've tasted. 4 different varieties of our own local wine certificates will be served and you will learn everything you need to know about Greek wines. This tends to be very social, but educated wine tasting. Definitely an unforgettable experience!
