Meet Manolis – Owner and Captain of Our Monohull Boat

Manolis, the owner and captain of our monohull boat, is a native of Crete, Greece, where he developed a deep love and respect for the sea from a young age. He grew up on his family's traditional kaiki fishing boat, forging a lifelong bond with the Mediterranean waters.

Manolis holds degrees from the Belgrade and Athens Schools of Physical Education and Sport Science. Over the years, he has gained valuable experience in the catering business, running a restaurant where he personally cooked and specialized in Mediterranean cuisine, always with a preference for fresh, local flavors. Despite his success in the culinary world, the call of the sea never left him.

With 25 years of experience navigating all the Greek seas, Manolis is an accomplished and highly skilled skipper. His vast knowledge and expertise as a captain ensure safe, smooth voyages for all guests aboard. Throughout his career, he has collected numerous traditional Greek recipes, adding a personal touch to every journey.

A calm and competent captain, Manolis is also hands-on with the maintenance and repair of his boat, ensuring that it is always in top condition to tackle any challenge or adverse weather conditions. His primary concern is the safety and well-being of all passengers, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience on the water.
