Crossing Arachthos! A beautiful water route of 30 kilometers!
The emblematic river Arachthos flows through some of the most beautiful areas of Greece. It originates from the northern Pindos and passing between the mountains, Lakmo and Mitsikeli flows into the Amvrakikos. Along the way, it crosses green and impressive gorges, giving us unique images and experiences.
The Crossing of Arachthos starts from the Bridge of Krapsi. First, we meet the stone Bridge of Papastathis, while at 11 km from the starting point, at the Tsimpovo Bridge we pass strong passes of 4th degree. At about 18 km, on our left, Kalarrytikos pours its waters into Arachthos and significantly enhances the volume and strength of the river. At 20 km route we pass the Politsa Bridge, where the classic route to the Arachthos Gorge begins. At this point, we do not miss the opportunity to visit and take a dip in the natural lake formed by the twenty-meter Waterfall of Klifki. Along the way, we meet dozens of springs gushing from the rocks with crystal clear and drinking water. At the exit of the Gorge, at the end of the route, we reach the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans, the Plaka Bridge.
Our route includes Arachthos A, B, and C, while crossing three narrow gorges.
Conditions for participation:
- 12 years old and over, accompanied by an adult guardian
- Mental and physical health
- Knowledge of swimming
- At least one previous Rafting experience.

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation 72 hours or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
