River Trekking at Pantavrechi Canyon and hiking at Black Cave All Inclusive , Karpenissi, Evrytania
Activity Description
The gorge Pantavrechi, which means "always raining" is undoubtedly one of the most impressive areas of Evritania. It is located between the villages of Roska and Doliana. It takes its name from the icy waters that descend from the mountain of Kaliakouda, which flow from the tops of the gorge and form beautiful waterfalls.
The sound of running water, combined with the magical image of this natural landscape, definitely adds Pantavrechi to the list of must visit places when visiting Evritania.
Itinerary
Departure from your point of choice for the gorge Pantavrechi with our 4 × 4 vehicles via Mount Kaliakouda. Short stop at the highest point that we will cross for photos and then head to the village of Doliana. After about 1 hour (in total) we reach Krikelopotamos. At this point we start our activity crossing the gorge by hiking in and out of the river. After about 45 minutes we reach the beautiful waterfalls.
Stay at the waterfalls for diving and return following the same route.
For those who wish it at the end they can enjoy the view from the suspension bridge.
We then head to the Black Cave Gorge, where we enjoy a short one-hour hike, admiring the impressive waterfalls and the Black Cave.
Departure for the beautiful "Megalo Chorio" to relax and enjoy local products at the "KOINSEP I EVRYTI" before returning to the hotel.
