Activity Description

They say only if you walk it will you live its beauty! And they are right, a unique path with terrible variations in both flora and fauna and its elevations. During the day we will have the opportunity to get to know Olympus and its biodiversity through the unique museum of the National Park. The museum challenges the visitor to a "virtual ascent" from the foothills to its highest peaks.

The old monastery of St. John's. Dionisiou was built in 1542 and its founder is Ag. Dionysios, near the monastery there is the cave where Ag. Dionysios. During our tour of the path, we will have the opportunity to enjoy Enipea with its incredible waterfalls and dense riverside vegetation.

In Olympus, more than 1700 species of plants have been counted, representing 25% of the Greek flora, of which 23 are endemic species with the species Jankaea heldreichii being a plant relic since the ice age.
